To find any ASIC miner's IP address: (1) Connect your computer or phone to the same Wi-Fi/LAN subnet as your miners. (2) Run a network range scan (e.g. 192.168.1.1–254) using Asic Miners Tool, or (3) Open Asic Miners Tool IP Finder and press the physical IP Report (Antminer) or IPFOUND (WhatsMiner) button on the miner controller. The miner’s IP and MAC address will appear instantly on your screen.
01
Start on the miner’s network
Connect your computer or phone to a network that can reach the miner. For a phone, use the same local Wi-Fi network as the wired miners. Guest Wi-Fi, separate VLANs and client isolation can prevent discovery.
02
Choose between scanning and IP reporting
A range scan checks addresses you select and identifies supported devices that respond. IP Finder listens for a compatible miner’s physical report button. A scan does not require pressing a button.
03
Scan the right address range
In Asic Miners Tool, detect the local network or add its actual IP range. Enable the ranges you need, then scan. Do not copy an example range without checking your own network. CIDR notation such as /24 is valid; a typical /24 has host addresses ending in .1 through .254.
04
Use the report button when available
Open IP Finder and start listening before pressing a compatible miner’s IP Report or IPFOUND button. Follow the hardware manufacturer’s instructions for that model. Use the IP button, not Reset. Reporting may not cross routers or isolated network segments.
05
Still missing? Check the basics
Wait for the controller to finish booting, check its network cable and link light, and verify the subnet. Your router’s DHCP client list can help locate a leased address. A static address may not appear in that list. Check local firewall rules for the tool; avoid disabling protection broadly.
06
Open and identify the miner
Open the discovered IP in a browser and sign in if asked. Match the model or MAC address to the physical device before changing pools or workers. Available readings depend on firmware and API support.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the default IP address of an ASIC miner?
Most modern ASIC miners do not have a fixed default IP; they request a dynamic IP address via DHCP upon booting. Common subnets assigned by mining farm routers include 192.168.1.x, 192.168.0.x, and 10.0.0.x.
Why isn't my ASIC miner showing up in the IP scan?
Check: 1) Wait 3–5 minutes for the controller to finish booting; 2) Confirm green and yellow Ethernet link lights are flashing; 3) Ensure your scanning device is on the same local subnet without guest isolation; 4) Check your router's DHCP client table.
Can I find a miner's IP address from an Android phone?
Yes. Asic Miners Tool for Android runs directly on your phone connected to the farm's Wi-Fi network. It scans IP subnets and listens for IP report button broadcasts without needing a PC.
